Sandra Holt

Sandra Dawn Holt was born on November 4, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri, and joined her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2013, in Springfield, MO. Sandra was born to Mary Louise Miller Hilliard and Donald Hilliard. She was later adopted by her stepfather, Jack Davis. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marylou and Jack Davis.

Sandra is survived by her children, Lance LaSalle and his partner, Jana, of The Czech Republic; Jill LaSalle-Evans and son-in-law, Karl Evans, Springfield; Blake LaSalle, Springfield; and Craig LaSalle and daughter-in-law, Sara, of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Jayne Green and family of St. Peters, MO and brother, Brad Davis and family of St. Charles, MO.

Finally, Sandra is survived by the lights of her life her grandchildren: Tierney, Caleb, Taryn, Lucien, Rowan, Madison, Patchen, Liam, Lukas, and Gabriel.

Sandra graduated from Pattonville High School in 1967, in St. Louis County. She worked as a homemaker and in-home daycare provider for many years, before becoming a secretary and later training to be a medical transcriptionist, fulfilling a life-long desire to work in some way in the medical field.
Despite decades of fighting diabetes, Sandra lived life fully - loving movies, neighbors, dancing, and laughing. To the very end, she wanted to babysit her grandchildren as often as she could, scheduling opportunities around doctor visits and dialysis.

Sandra recently converted to Catholicism in late 2012 and has found much peace in her new faith. Her large heart and generous spirit will be greatly missed.
