Ruth H. Watson of Springfield, 90, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013, following a short illness. She was born in Guymon, OK on January 25, 1923. She is preceded in death by Reed N. Laney, her first husband and E. Massey Watson, her second.
She is survived by her five sons and families; Reed and Judy (Florida), Mack, (Springfield), Ross and Shirl (Oregon), David and Cheryl Ann (Florida) and Kent, (Springfield). And her loving Pug. Harry James of the home. She has many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be announced with interment in Springfield National Cemetery in early Fall. Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri; 3161 W. Norton Road, Springfield, MO 65803.
