Russell Stahlman

Russell (Russ) Allen Stahlman of Springfield, MO passed away June 7, 2013. He was born in Dade County, MO to Ralph & Martha Stahlman on March 28, 1944. He was married to Connie on September 6, 1974.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister and 1 son and 1 grandaughter. He is survived by his children Raymond and Angela Stahlman, Allen Stahman, Cheryl & Rick Sander, Karen & David Schinstock, Bill and Kelly McGinnes and Jay & Kathe McGinnes 30 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and his siblings Ralph & Ruby Stahlman, Floris Leatherman, Anna & Pat Lucero, Rose Leatherman, Rex & Ellen Stahlman, Max and Theresa Stahlman, Bonnie & John Evans, Stanley and Wanda Stahlman, Ron & Patty Stahlman, and Jane Stahlman. Russ is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and many friends.

Russ was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Springfield and was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. Russ also served in the Kansas National Guard. He loved working on motors and equipment, reading westerns and fishing was his favorite pastime.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation services will be Monday, June 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church.
