Russell Eugene Aldredge was born on July 1, 1962, in Santa Ana, California.
He was one of two children born to Bonna Kirkhoff. He was united in marriage to Mr. Tracy Mobbs after 13 years on July 14, 2015.
Russell graduated from Glendale High School in 1980 and was the drum major of the school band. He also graduated from Drury University in 1993 with a Marketing Degree.
Russell loved to cook and bake and was best known for his cinnamon rolls. He was artistic and a very accomplished painter with many of his pieces hanging on the walls of his loved ones. He spent many wonderful hours with his grandchildren and enjoyed dressing them in cute outfits. To say he was a Christmas enthusiast is an understatement, 37 Christmas trees was the norm at Russell and Tracy’s annual Christmas party. Russell also enjoyed travel with Belize being his favorite spot.
He departed this life June 30, 2018.
Russell is survived by his spouse Tracy Mobbs, two children and their spouses: Ryan and Christina Aldredge, Ashley and Josh Krone, his mother Bonna Kirkhoff, and sister Doris Aldredge.
He is also survived by four grandchildren: Kaylyn Krone, Elena Aldredge, Luna Krone, and Lucius Aldredge.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5th, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Herman H Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E Walnut St, Springfield, MO 65806.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri or the charity of your choice.
