Rubye was born on February 15, 1953 in Metropolis, Illinois.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph Root and Floy Hornback.
Rubye is survived by one sister, Anna Owens; two brothers, Richard (Shannon) Root and James (Karen) Root; two daughters, Helen (William) Thurston and JoAnna (Ron) Provinge; 9 Grandchildren: Ashley, Timmy, Aaron, Zachary, Nicklaus, Austin, William, Gregory, and Damon and 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Rubye be will honored with a Celebration of Life on September 14, 2019, from 2:00-5:00 pm at His House Ministreis, 1250 Ky-303, Mayfield, Kentucky 42066.
