Roxie Hyden

Roxie L. Hyden, 67 of Springfield passed away at 8:32 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 in her home.

Roxie was born February 14, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri to Willard and Hazel (Pierson) Davenport. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James, her brothers Donnie Bowers and Jim Davenport.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Tywater of Missouri, Ronnie McKellips of Missouri, Rick McKellips of Buffalo, Missouri, Donna Pope of Buffalo, Missouri, and Brenda Shive of Springfield, Missouri; her siblings, Troy Davenport, Charles Davenport, Bobby Davenport all of Springfield, Missouri and Linda Olmestead of Highlandville, Missouri; also survived by 15 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

Memorial graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday July 7, 2010 at Liberty Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri. No visitation is planned.
