Rosemary Schwegel, 88, Springfield, passed away March 29, 2015.
She was born September 18, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri to Raymond and Marie (Homiczenski) Obrimski. Rosemary married Kenneth Schwegel on October 18, 1948 in St. Louis. Rosemary was a homemaker. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kenneth Schwegel.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane Crooks (Bill), and their children Eric Crooks (Misty), and her children, Jace and Kenlie, Kevin Crooks (Tara), and their children, Wrena and Chloe, and Shawna Harper (James), and their son, Chase; son, Keith Schwegel (Mary); son, Tom Schwegel (Cathy), and their children Jacob Schwegel (Jessica), and their children, Finley, Lincoln, and Beckett and Carrie Lipscomb (Brett), and their son, Sylas; daughter, Mary Sweet (Dan), and their children, Ashlyn Sweet and Cody Sweet (Melissa); and many other family members and friends.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 1, 2015 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. Tom Kiefer celebrant under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut. Burial will follow in Springfield National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the mass on Wednesday in the church.
