Rose Netzer

Rose C. Netzer, 83, Springfield, passed away at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, October 04, 2005 in St. John's Hospital.

She was born February 01, 1922 in Verona, Missouri to Mathias and Hildegard (Koehler) Pruente. Rose was preceded in death by her parents and her son, James Michael Netzer.

She was an inspiring woman to her family and anyone who met her. A selfless woman who put others before herself all her life. Treating all with compassion, kindness, and gentleness. She taught her children the power of praying the rosary in facing lifes many hardships, also by her deeply strong Catholic faith she showed us how God intended us to act towards one another. We learned what love is from her and we will miss her dearly.

Rose is survived by her husband, Raymond P. Netzer; her daughter, Marilyn Crossland; her two sons, Gerald Netzer and Stephen Netzer; and her grandchildren, Kevin Netzer, Jennifer Netzer, and Nick Netzer.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 07, 2005 in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Denis Dougherty, OSB, celebrant under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut. Burial will be in Lake Worth Memory Gardens, Lake Worth, Florida.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with a Rosary Service starting at 6:00.
