Rose Kelly

Rose Etta Kelly, 67, Springfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:50 a.m., Monday, October 13, 2008, in her home. She was born July 6, 1941 to Willard and Dora (DeWeese) Darland in Galesburg, Kansas. She married Ronald Kelly on April 30, 1960 in St. Joseph Church, Brimfield, Illinois. Rose was preceded in death by two sons, Patrick Kelly and David Kelly.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald; her two daughters, Angela Kelly and Stephanie Kelly; her brothers, Frank Darland, and his wife Delores, Ivan Darland, and his wife, Jill, and Donnie Darland; and her sisters, Arlene Myers, Mary Jane Fisher, and Anna England and her husband John.

Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2008, with a Rosary service starting at 7:00 p.m., in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut, Springfield.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Denis Dougherty O.S.B, celebrant.

Graveside services will be at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, in Memorial Park Cemetery, Columbia, Missouri.
