Ronald Dean “Will” Williams, Sr. age 55, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Friday evening, September 14, 2018 with his family at his side.

He was born on July 31, 1963 in Ft. Collins, Colorado, the son of William Louis Williams and Lefa Karen (Asher) Williams.

Will was a loving and devoted family man. He was a veteran and always stood by his beliefs. He would help any and everyone he could if it was possible for him to so. He was a dedicated and loving husband to Irma (Tina) for 26 years. Will was a dedicated and loving dad to his children. He devoted his life to his family, friends and truck driving. Will and Tina lost a son in February 2016 and they dedicated their lives to raising their granddaughters. Ronald was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma (cancer) and had a kidney removed but continued to take care of his family until he no longer could. He continued to fight through the chemo and radiation. He recently rededicated his life to Christ and was baptized this summer.

He is survived by his wife, Irma (Tina) Williams; his mother, Lefa Karen Dohle; his daughter, Misty D. Young and her fiance Travis Tanksley of Springfield; two sons, Ronald D. Williams, Jr. and his wife Amber of Susanville, California, Timothy J. Cravens and his wife Kellie of Olathe, Kansas; four sisters and their families; three brothers and their families; 16 grandchildren; one great grandchild; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends along with his church family at Crossway Baptist Church and Pastor Eddie Bumpers.

Ronald was preceded in death by his granddaughter; Cheyanne Craven; his father, William Louis Williams; his stepfather, Raymond Dohle; and one son, Robert J. Young, Jr.

Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in the Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in the Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel with Pastor Eddie Bumpers officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Road, Springfield, Missouri.
