Ronald J. King, 59 of Springfield passed away at 5:19 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009 in The Manor at Elfindale.
Ron was born Feb. 17, 1950 in Piggot, Ark. to Dewey and Jessie (Wells) King. He is survived by his children, Tracy King and Kevin King; his grandson, Landon King; his siblings, Vernon King, Coy King, Mary Latchaw, Freda Lynk, and Edith Hornbuckle; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday Nov. 2, 2009 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel 500 E. Walnut St. with Pastor Roger Hedgpeth officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
