Roger Hart

Roger Lee Hart, 71 of Springfield, MO passed away in his home on January 16, 2014 after his battle with cancer.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Orville, SR and Margaret Hart, his brother-in- law Alvin Young, his brother J.R. Hart and his step-daughter Stephanie Evans.
He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years Cindy Hart, sons Roger, David and Chris Hart. Stepsons Nathan Evans and Seth Thompson. Three sisters, Patti McRoy and husband Charlie, Sandra Young, Donna Rennells and husband Garold. Grandchildren Bryce, Zachary, Abbigail, Shilah and Kealie whom were all the delight of his life, and many people whom loved him.
He loved life and the adventure that it offered him. Everything he did was an adventure. He loved being outside and enjoyed camping more than anything. His favorite past time was his yard and the garden. Roger was a retired electrician. In retirement years he drove the train for Dickerson Park Zoo for 2 years and also drove the shuttle at the fair.
Roger had a way of being positive when life threw a curve. He was an inspiration and a father figure to many. His way of saying things always stuck with you.
At Roger’s request there will be no service. He wanted you to remember him the way he was last time you saw him.
