Mr. Robert Vernon Thompson, Jr. 53, Afton, Oklahoma formerly of Grove, Oklahoma passed away Jan. 6, 2005.
Robert was born May 11, 1951 in Pittsburg, California to Robert Vernon Thompson, Sr. and Delores (Thornton) Thompson. Mr. Thompson served in the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard. He owned and operated T & T Plumbing in Grove, Oklahoma for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Ricky Dean Thompson.
He is survived by his mother, Deloris Loyd, Carson City, Nev.; two daughters, Sherry Smith and Marcy Bosco; two grandsons, Malachi and Zachary all of Springfield; his brother, Larry Thompson of Bend, Oregon; nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service with full military honors will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2005 in Northern Nevada Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Fernley, Nev.
No visitation is planned local arrangements are under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut St.
