Robert “Bob” Eugene Stone passed away Saturday January 10, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Bob was born December 5, 1939 in Fordland, Missouri to Gilbert L. and Katie I. Stone at their home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Jean Stone; dad, Gilbert Stone; mom, Katie Stone and son, Michael Lawrence Stone. He was united in marriage on May 1, 1965 to Lois Jean Stone.
Bob is survived by son, Allen Eugene Stone and his wife Karyn of Springfield: son, Robert Thomas Stone and his wife Pam of New Bloomfield, MO: and grandchildren, Kelsi Watkins, Ashley Stone, Alex Martin and Christopher Stone.
Bob graduated from Fordland High School. He worked at Zenith for many years. He also worked for Sportsman Pickup Covers, Cox Health Systems and Webco Industries in Marshfield. He was an avid baseball fan. His favorite team was the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a member of Cass Chapel Baptist Church in Fordland.
A private family graveside service will be at a later date.
