Robert Lipscomb
Robert Lipscomb, 93, Willard, Missouri passed away at the Mt. Vernon Veterans Home on Saturday, February 29, 2020.
He was born May 20, 1926 in Springfield, MO to Brice and Pearl Lipscomb. He graduated Purdue University and was a veteran of World War II. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in the Northwest and Alaska.
He was preceded in death by his wife Amelia Lipscomb and son Stephen Lipscomb.
He is survived by his children, Susan Lipscomb, Linda Stone, Robert Lipscomb Jr., Jeff Lipscomb and his wife Cheryl, Dena Alaimo and her husband Russell, his grandchildren, Ryan Lipscomb and his wife Megan, Cole Lipscomb and great grandchild, Spencer Lipscomb.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 6th, 2020 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery: 5201 S. Southwood Road Springfield, MO 65804, with Father Karl W. Barmann, OSB, celebrant.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Vernon Veterans Home, 1600 S. Hickory, Mt. Vernon, MO 65712.
