Robert Gilliam

Robert Lowry Gilliam, 79, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 at home.

Robert was born August 11, 1939 in Dallas,Texas, the son of Robert Gilliam and Gladys Gilliam.

Robert worked many many years with his best friend and boss, Bud Godfrey. While working for Teters, he traveled back and forth to Hong Kong, China for work. In Hong Kong, he met the love of his life, Miu Ling, "Anita". In 2001 Anita and Robert moved to Springfield, Missouri. He married Anita in 2006. They had two children together, Joshua and Megan Gilliam. Robert was an avid long time golfer. He loved to go out and play all year around.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Gladys Gilliam, and his Aunt Betty Strange.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Miu Ling "Anita" Gilliam; his son, Joshua Gilliam; his daughter, Megan Gilliam; two grand kids Ezra and Autumn Grace Gilliam; and many other loving family and friends.
