Robert Ralph Cowgill, 96, Springfield, passed away on December 9, 2014.
Robert was born on November 1, 1918 in Michigan City, IN to Robert and Ethel Cowgill. He was an Army veteran, serving in World War II. Robert and his wife, Norma, attended Central Assembly of God.
He is survived by his wife of 77 years, Norma Cowgill; daughter, Dixie Hackett (Charles); grandchildren, Annette Thompson (Kevin) and Greg Hackett (Lisa); great-grandchildren, Tyler, Robert, Katie, Clare, Luke, and Dana; and great great-grandson, James.
A celebration of life will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday December 16, 2014 in Central Assembly of God Chapel.
Private memorial graveside services will take place in Missouri Veterans Cemetery before the celebration of life.
