Rickey Mcgee

Rickey L. McGee Sr. 70, Springfield, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018

Rickey was a loving husband, father, brother, grandpa, uncle and true friend to so many. He thrived on fishing, family, faith and tinkering on a car if the weather was right. He never met a stranger and always took time to talk to everyone he met.
Rickey loved to take his boat out early on a cold windy morning, because he knew the fish were ready to bite and that is always where his family and friends would find him. Rickey enjoyed a good conversation and loved to laugh, you could always see it in his big smile. He will be loved and missed by so many.

Rickey was preceded in death by his parents Nelson Johnson and Pansey Looney, sister Betty Johnson, son Rickey McGee Jr., and grand-daughter Jessica Conner.

He is survived by his wife Jeanne McGee; sons Cory McGee, Greg Davis, Allan Davis, Jeff Davis, daughters Marlea Ray, Tammy Sidhu and Angela Bizcarra; adopted son Jose Camacho; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, October 18, 2018 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Cockrum officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 5:00 pm till service time, Thursday.
