Richard Phillips

Richard Wayne Phillips, 64, Norwood, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, MO.
He was born April 13, 1949 in Woodlake, CA to Everett and Harriet (Alger) Phillips.
He graduated from Redwood High School in Visalia, CA.
Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam.
He worked for many years in the Tulare County area and everyone he knew was a friend.
He is survived by his wife Ramona (Cantrell) Phillips of the home, his siblings, Donald Phillips of New Braunfels, TX, Norman Phillips of Visalia, CA and JoAnne Wild of Norwood, MO, Jerald Phillips of Hot Springs, CA, Sara Hale of Visalia, CA and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
There will be no formal services.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
Burial will be in CA at a later date.
If desired, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society directly in lieu of flowers.
