Richard Krueger

Richard L. Krueger, 69, died in his home following a long illness. He was born and educated in Michigan City, Ind. He served in the U.S. army, spent his working years in various creative ventures, and moved to Springfield in retirement.

Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Alice ( Kubik); son Rory and wife Melinda of Springfield; daughter Kimberly and her husband Greg Beasley of North Carolina; grandchildren Riley, Reid, Hannah, and Billy.

His family and friends will miss his creative energy and his quiet observations of the world around him.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church, with a memorial mass celebrated on Wednesday, April 28th at 1 p.m in the church. Interment will be in Michigan City, Indiana with his parents at a later time.

The Krueger family requests that memorial donations be made to a food pantry of your choice.
