Ralph Wright

Ralph Lee Wright, 77, of Springfield, MO passed into the arms of his heavenly father January 4, 2009 in Indianapolis, IN.

Ralph was born in Aldrich, MO December 23, 1931. He was the oldest of three sons. He was a business owner in Springfield, MO; most recently of "Olde Towne Shoppe of Lights" on College Street.

He is survived by his wife Thelma Lorene Stephenson Wright; daughter Sue Shah and her husband Niru; daughter Lorraine Wright; granddaughter Alithea Anderson, her husband David and their children Nick and Ella; grandson Sundesh Shah, his wife Sneha and their children Nealon and Mila; his brother Gene Wright and his wife Wilma; sister in law Barbara S. Campmier Wright; and brother in law Michael Stephenson. Ralph delighted in the time he spent with his great grandchildren during the last two years he spent in Indianapolis in failing health.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harmon and Velma Wright and very recently his brother Kent of Springfield.

He was a member and retired deacon of Brookline First Baptist Church.

Visitation will be at Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut on Friday, January 9 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home Saturday, January 10 at 10:00 a.m. with Fred Lynn and John Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at Plum Grove Cemetery near Humansville, Missouri.
