Priscilla "Ann" McVay, 68, went to peacefully to Heaven with her three boys by her side at 10:35 P.M. on December 18th, 2013.
Ann was born January 6th, 1945 in Southgate, California, to Arnold and Grace Chaney. She attended Huntington Park High, the same location the American favorite movie "Grease" was filmed.
Ann married Douglas McVay in 1963. Ann was a proud mother of her three boys of her own along with eleven foster boys. Her home was always open to many more. All the neighborhood children knew her as "Mom"! To her family and friends she was known as "Cookie" or "Aunt Cookie".
Ann love, love, loved her Grandkids!! She had many favorite activities she enjoyed such as, gardening, bird watching, and arts &crafts. She was very talented in Oil Painting, Plaster of Paris, and Ceramics.
Ann was proceeded in death by her parents Arnold and Grace Chaney.
Ann is survived by sons, Randy and wife Jackie McVay, Darrick and wife Darla McVay, and Sean McVay. Grandchildren Holly, Reva, Scott, Jessica, Jacob, Haley, Morgan, and Jackson. Honorary daughter Nancy Dodd Hoffman. Sister Linda Chaney Peck and Brother Robert Chaney. Nieces and Nephews Dawn, Andrea, Vanessa, Louie, David, Tony and Robbie.
