Preston Frankum
Preston L. "Bud" Frankum, 83, Springfield, passed away at 5:53 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2008 in Maranatha Lodge. He was born August 6, 1924 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Clyde and Pearl (McCord) Frankum. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and was married to Nina (Latterner) Frankum. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Gene, and a sister, Kathleen.
Preston is survived by his wife, Nina; a son, Jerry Frankum of Springfield; and a daughter, Janice Frankum, of Louisville, Texas.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2008 in White Chapel Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
