Peggy Thomson

Mrs. Peggy Thomson, 83 of Springfield passed away Saturday evening July 2, 2011 in the Neighborhoods at Quail Creek.

Peggy was born December 10, 1927 in Dunlap, Iowa. She was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church where she enjoyed many church activities including being a member of the Singing Ambassadors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cassie Andrew & Hope Mae (Strong) Bullis and her husband, Donald B. Thomson. Peggy is survived by her two children and their spouses, Trudy Hope and John Long and Craig Cass and Millie Thomson; four grandchildren, Chad Long, Tara Whiles, Nicholas Thomson and Cassie Thomson; and five great grandchildren, Hannah Long, Evann Long, Kody Whiles, Jase Whiles, Kaiden Thomson.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday July 5, 2011 in Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Massey officiating under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
