Paul Richerson, Jr.

Paul A. Richerson, 76, passed away quietly in his home Thursday evening Nov. 16, 2006. He was born Oct. 16, 1930 in West Frankfort, IL to Paul and Martha Richerson. Paul was in combat infantry in Korea. He later rejoined the Army as a Medical Specialist. It was during this time that he met and married Phyllis Hackbarth. In the years following his discharge he was active in the Army and Navy Reserves. He spent his life as a truck driver, Nurse Assistant and then became a Registered Nurse only to return to 15 years of team truck driving with his wife before retirement in 1999. He was always there for his family and friends.

Preceding Paul in death were his parents, three brothers, Harold, Eddy and Homer, and this past January his daughter Terri L. Richerson � Holmes.

Surviving is his wife of 52 years Phyllis, son Perry, daughter Sherri of Springfield Mo. and son Larry and wife Rosa of Ash Grove Mo. Grandchildren, Toney, Jesse and David of Forsyth Mo. Clara and James of Ash Grove Mo. and Angela in IL. Eric and Nick of Pierce City Mo. Also Sisters, Ruth of East Peoria Il and Lois of Galcanda IL.
