Ozark resident, Patricia Ann Salinas passed away surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.
Patricia (Patty, Trish) was born on November 3, 1955, in Pomona, California to Charles Kenneth Cox and Lola Mae (Glidewell) Cox.
Patty grew up in Pomona, CA, attending Park Ave High School, eventually moving to Highlandville, MO. Patty had a successful career for 25 years with the Ozark School District where she held numerous positions and finally retired in 2014.
Patty’s happiness was found in the company of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, and close friends. Patty always enjoyed volunteering at many local charities and giving back to her community. She also loved spending time in Florida visiting with friends, relaxing on the beach, and never missing the chance to appreciate a beautiful sunset.
Patty was an amazing mother, grandma, and friend. Patty is survived by her mother, Lola Mae Cox, sister, Linda and Ron Curbow, and brother, Kenn and Connie Cox. She’s also survived by her children, Andi and Becca Strickland, and Nathaniel Salinas, along with her 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
