Patricia Mercado

Patricia Sue Mercado, 75, Springfield, passed away June 23, 2012 in her home.
She was born April 29, 1937 in Springfield, Missouri to Aloysius and Marjorie (Jackson) Ott. She was raised by her Grandparents, Mable and Ernest Jackson.
Patricia married Horacio Mercado on April 1, 1958.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dennis Mercado; an infant daughter; a grandson, Richard Young Jr.; and her mother-in-law, Nelida Seda.
She is survived by her husband; daughters, Sarita Mercado, Norma Lawson (Anson), Debi Small, and Nela Mercado; 2nd family, Mariluz Jimenez, Nelly Mercado, Hector Mercado, Herman Mercado, and Jessica Mercado; 19 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren (2 more on the way); sisters, Nancy Muldoon (Joe) and Janet Niemeyer (Marty); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday June 29, 2012 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3322 S. Campbell Suite G Springfield, MO 65807.
