Patricia Jean Grieshaber, 83, Springfield, passed away at 5:00 pm Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in The Neighborhoods at Quail Creek.
She was born October 7, 1932 in Plattin, MO to Charles H. and Bess Schmidt. She attended Plattin Grade School and Festus High School. She married Pete on October 22, 1950 in Festus, MO. Pat was an avid gardener and was accredited by the University of Missouri Extension as a Master Gardener.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Martha Schmidt and Betty Cunningham, and brother Charles H. Schmidt.
She is survived by her husband Pete, her daughter Ann McVey and son-in-law Randy, her son Mark Grieshaber and daughter-in-law Debbie, her son Rob Grieshaber and daughter-in-law Jimmie, grandchildren Andrea, Alecia, Aaron, Shane, Kyle, Cory, Lola and Jennifer, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton with Monsignor Tom Reidy celebrant under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut. Burial will be in the Resurrection Catholic cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:30 pm Sunday January 10, 2016 in the funeral home, with rosary starting at 6:30.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church or Intrepid Hospice Springfield office.
