Orville Steinbecker

Orville J. Steinbecker, age 85, Springfield, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018, in Springfield.
He was born October 29, 1932, in Perryville, Missouri to Emil and Edna Steinbecker. Orville retired as a bus driver for Springfield City Utilities.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Steinbecker; four children, Gail Johnson and husband Ken, Patricia Van Lent and husband Rick, Bruce Steinbecker and fiancée Lyn Driskell, Jeff Steinbecker and wife Kim McGill; ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

There is no formal visitation planned, friends may call at their convenience from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2018, in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018, in Eastlawn Cemetery, 2244 East Pythian Street, Springfield.
