Norma Cowgill

Norma Ruth Cowgill, age 98, passed away on November 27, 2017 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO.

She was born November 13, 1919 in Peru, Indiana, the daughter of Jess Robertson and Ruth (West) Robertson.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Dixie (Charles) Hackett of Springfield, MO.; two grandchildren, Annette (Kevin) Thompson of Springfield, MO., Dr. Greg (Lisa) Hackett of Warrenton, VA.; six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Cowgill on December 9, 2014.

A celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2017 at Central Assembly of God Chapel in Springfield, MO.

Private interment will take place at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Springfield, MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Convoy of Hope, 330 S. Patterson Avenue, Springfield, MO. 65802.
