Nathan Cain

Nathan Todd Cain, age 50, passed away in the early hours of March 22nd after a harrowing struggle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Tennie and Joe Wrinkle; his mother Norma Hansen, his aunts and uncles; Donald Wrinkle, Wasolee Sewell, and Carl Wrinkle. He is survived by his father Howard Hansen; two daughters, Mazie Cain and Jessica Lapinski; two grandchildren, Eli and Jada Lapinski; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Dan and Laura Wrinkle, Dale Cain and Amy Zingre, and Scott Cain; his niece Morwen Constable; aunts and uncles Wanda and Gary Perkins, John and Carolyn Wrinkle, Junior and Linda Wrinkle, Dorothy Loftis, and Janice Smith; along with numerous cousins.

In life he was a kind-hearted man who did anything he could to help others and put a smile on their face. He was a loving father and a devoted family man even as he struggled through several difficult personal issues. Despite everything, in his final days, he was strong enough to push beyond his own struggles and be the fun-loving, silly man who was full of life and laughter that every enjoyed being around.

He brought joy and light to many in this world during his time here, and he will be missed, not only by his family and friends, but also by those who led a richer and more fulfilled life for having known and met him.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, 2158 N. Missouri, Springfield Missouri.
