Myrtle Herron

Myrtle Lillian Herron, 99, Springfield, passed away at 7:20 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2008 in her home. She was born December 25, 1908 in Buckingham, Pennsylvania to William and Melissa Hann Ivins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Anthony Steinmetz and her second husband, William Herron.

She is survived by her children; son Anthony Steinmetz and his wife, Pauline, daughter Elizabeth Herron, and son Michael Herron and his wife, Linda; grandchildren Karl and Sean Steinmetz, Kendra Burch, and Daniel Herron; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2008 in St. Mary's Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
