Moses Burdett, 98, Springfield, passed away at 5:47 p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2008, in Christian Health Care West.
He was born March 4, 1909, in Sardis, Mississippi to Daniel and Zora (Walls) Burdett.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Victer Rene Burdett, in January of 1988. Moses is survived by his niece, Margie Huddleston, Texas; a special niece, Eva Burdett Hunter, Arkansas, and four additional nieces and nephews and eleven great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2008, in Hazelwood Cemetery, under the direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut.
No formal visitation is planned but friends may call from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Monday in the funeral home.
