Minnie Friguletti

Mrs. Minnie A. Friguletti, 82, Springfield passed away at 8:05 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006 in her home due to complications of cancer.

Minnie was born Feb. 28, 1924 in Council Grove, Kansas to Clarence and Gladys (Wodke) Hunt. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters and her son, Lewis J. Friguletti. Minnie was a beloved wife, mother, and friend to all she met. She was very devoted to her family. Minnie was originally from Leavenworth, Kansas but moved to Springfield, MO in 1974 due to her husband, Joseph Friguletti, employment with Federal Corrections services. He worked with them for 25 years before retiring in Springfield, Missouri.

Minnie was very devoted to the Catholic Church and attended regularly. She participated in many church activities such as Women's Council, and she started her own group, Womens Sharing, that met every Tuesday to share in faith and community.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Joseph Friguletti, her son, David G. Friguletti both of the home; her sister, LaVera Howard of Tucson, Ariz. and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006 in Immaculate Conception Church with Fr. Lewis E. Hejna celebrant. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut St.

No visitation is planned.

Minnie will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Thank you everyone for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. Amen to all.
