Michael Bryan

Michael R. Bryan, 62, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 22, at his home in Springfield. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, August 26, 1954 to Cecil A. and Helen J. Bryan.

Mike grew up on Air Force bases in Ohio, Florida, Morocco, and then Texas. He moved to Mountain View, Missouri, in 1962. After graduating high school in 1972, he moved to Springfield.

He attended Southwest Missouri State University for several semesters and then went to work at PDQ Delivery Service where he learned distribution and warehouse management. While working there, he met his former spouse Debra Brockmeier who became the mother of his one child.

Michael worked at Clark Products in the same area of expertise and then accepted employment with Acme Brick.

He completed over 20 years in the Navy Reserve and retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer.

Michael is survived by his sister, Patricia Capell, of Independence, Missouri, brother, Patrick, of Springfield, and son, Alex, of Springfield.

The interment service and burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday February 15, 2017 in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.

The family has asked for donations to the American Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers.
