Mary Terhune

Mary Ellen (Kresyman) Terhune passed away at 12:55 p.m. Sun. Feb. 10, 2008 in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Mo.

Mary was born July 9, 1925 to Mary (Bruenn) and John Kresyman. She graduated from Pierce City High School. She married Jack Terhune, July 31, 1947. Mary was a homemaker and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in which she was very active and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Terhune, her brothers, Tom, Ed, John, Clarence, Jim and Leo, her sister, Elizabeth. She is survived by one brother, Ray Kresyman of Columbus, Kansas; one step-daughter, Norma Robertson of Brighton; one step-son, C.J. (Jack) Terhune of Cameron, Texas; several nieces and nephews and several step-nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008 in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Denis Dougherty, OSB celebrant. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut. Prayer services will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday with visitation to follow in the funeral home.
