Mary Hale

Mary Aliene Hale, 79, Springfield, passed away Thursday May 7, 2009 in Cox Hospital South.

She was born March 20, 1930 in Morrisville, Missouri to Merle and Donna (Hartsell) Yarberry. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Elaine Hale and Paul Hale; her sisters, Virginia Walls, Barbara Andrus, and Margery Wise; and her niece, Belinda Hardison.

Mary is survived by her children, Donna Long, Judy Franklin, and Mark Hale; her grandchildren, Donessa Hale, Michelle Long, Mike Long, Dylan Long, and Dustin Long; her great-grandson, Ryan Long; her sister, Kay McMannis; her nieces and nephews, including, Ruthie Horton, Linda Mann, Johnny Cooper, and Joe Cooper; and numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday May 13, 2009 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday and go until the start of the service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Springfield National Cemetery.
