Mary Alice Davis

Mary Alice Davis, a cherished soul who touched the lives of many, peacefully passed away on March 10, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on January 16, 1938, in Idabel, Oklahoma, and was a guiding light to those who knew her.

Mary's legacy lives on through her beloved family. She is survived by her devoted husband, David Dee Davis; her sons, David Dee Davis, Jr., James Lee Davis, and John Christopher Davis; and her siblings, Marjie Atwood, Billie Blankenship, Jeannette Norton, and Henry Prichett, Jr.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James Henry and Sarah Alice (Breeding) Prichett, and her siblings: Lucille Buchanan, Howard Prichett, and Evelyn Prichett. Each of these souls has played a formative role in her life, and their memories will forever hold a special place in her family's heart.

In celebrating Mary's life, her family invites you to join them for the funeral service on March 14, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM Friday at Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E Walnut St, Springfield, MO. 

A graveside service will follow on March 16, 2025, at Rush Creek Cemetery in Cayce, Kentucky, beginning at 1:00 PM Sunday.

Mary will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she spread so generously to her family and friends. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
