She was born August 26, 1928 in Falls City, Nebraska to Roscoe and Florence (Messler) Stumbo.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Bill Salo; her sons, John Hoke of Santa Rosa, California, Steve Salo of McKinleyville, California, David Salo of Sacramento, California, and Terry Salo of Shawnee, Kansas; her sister, Betty Lee Resch of Joplin, Missouri; her brother, Richard Stumbo of Lawrence, Kansas; numerous grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
