Her Family called her “Susie”

On Friday night 08/06/21 Susie and her husband Eric Wimmer were involved in a car accident. Susie succumbed to her injuries from the accident.

She was welcomed home by our Heavenly father.

On 07/16/61 Susie was born to Helen (Weathermon) McEntire and Billy McEntire.

Susie worked at Seasons Hospice as a Registered Nurse for the past 10 years where she showed compassion and care to terminally ill patients and their loved ones. Susie was very loving, caring, patient, understanding and compassionate wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She loved to take her boat out on her days off to enjoy the water and fish. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was extremely close to her grandchildren and was always so warm and loving.

Susie was preceded in death by her mother Helen McEntire, her sister Karen (McEntire) Flores, her nephew Nathan Flores, her grandparents Winifred and Clarence Weathermon, Mamie and Earl McEntire, also several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Susie is survived by her husband Eric Wimmer of Springfield, her father Billy McEntire of Republic, her daughter Wanjiku (Njoroge) Herron, her sons Billy Njoroge and Wanjigi Jordan Njoroge of Springfield, her sisters Judy McEntire of Aurora, and Dora Dianna McEntire of Republic, Brother and sister in law Charlie McEntire and Lisa Lafon of Republic, grandchildren Njenga Ta’Sabien Chatman of Tampa, FL, Avyon Njoroge, Shalia Njoroge and Njenga Jordan Njoroge of Springfield, and also survived by her niece Carmen Flores of Republic- she was more of a second mother to Carmen. Also Several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends and coworkers.

Susie will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
