Martha Davidson

Martha Sue (Susie) Davidson passed away at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2006 in Primrose Place.

Susie was born Feb. 5, 1932 in Springfield, Mo. to William Raney and Emma Florence (Clifton) Inmon. She married the love of her life, Don Davidson, on Nov. 13, 1952. She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. Susie was active in her church and with her children's school activities. As the years passed she became homebound and found a love for embroidery and reading. She lived a simple but important life. Her gentle spirit and unique way of listening and caring will be missed by all her family and friends. The family would especially like to thank mom's friends and the staff at Primrose Place and the Community Hospices of America.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 50 years and her grandson, Joshua Swope.

She is survived by her daughters, Missy Swope and her husband Jon, Mendy Rutledge and her husband, Scott; her granddaughters, Marissa Swope and Hailey Rutledge.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2006 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut with Rev. Fred Lynn officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
