Mrs. Marlene Jewell Thornbrugh, 69 of Greenfield, Mo. passed away at 5:55 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009 in Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Lockwood, Mo.

Marlene was born Jan. 23, 1940 in Halltown, Mo. to Paul and Opal (Fine) Lahmann,

She is survived by her husband, William A. Thornbrugh of the home; her children, Cindy Boyd (Richard), and Paul Bowles; her stepchildren, Nancy Wages (Robert), Julie Bingham (Ronnie), and Alyssa Maynard (Chet); nine grandchildren, Jeremy Boyd, Andrea Friend, Monica Bowles, Chelsey Bowles, Paul Arnall, Angel Rector, Brian Rector, Linsey Maynard and Tristan Maze; and seven great grandchildren, Meleeah Friend, Elijiah Friend, Benjamin Friend, Seth Crouch, Michal Crouch, Brayden Hamilton and Rayder Boyd; her sisters, Janice Lahmann and Glenda Roscoe (Bill); her brothers, Jimmy Lahmann (Connie), and Eddie Lahmann (Pat); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2009 in Rose Hill Baptist Church in Willard, Mo. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.. Tuesday in the church with Chaplain Jack Betts officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
