Maria Rogers

Maria Cruz Ofelia Rogers passed away at 10:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at her home with her husband Joe. She was born in Tlapanaloya, Mexico in the vicinity of the Teotihuacan pyramids north of Mexico City in 1926.
She and her husband were married in 1955 in Laredo, Texas and she traveled with him to the Philippines, Hawaii, Montana and Hayti, Mo, places she enjoyed very much. She lived here in Springfield for about 10 years. She loved the exercise classes and senior citizens lunches at the Northview center with her many friends there.
Services will be held in Mexico with her family there and her family here in Springfield will be meeting informally for dinner in her memory.
