Margie Johnson

Margie Johnson. Mother of five, extended mother of three and like a mother, a sister, a friend to so many, many more.

Margie heard the Lords calling and went to her heavenly home on February 7th, 2023.

She is survived by two close sisters; Laura McBrayre of Kansas City and Lula Washington of Springfield as well as five children; Sheila Gibbs, Vearl Gibbs, Charles Dickson, Matthew Dickson and Lundy Johnson; her much beloved nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren, great grand nieces and grandnephews.

She made an impact on everyone she met. To people in other countries and states, as Church Mother at All in His Hands Ministry and to all the children she taught on the neighborhood nutritional bus through the University of Missouri Extension services. The most repeated comment I've hard is she helped people become a better version of themselves. Her selflessness, compassion and understanding cannot be replaced and will be sorely missed by us all.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 17th, 2023 at 1pm at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri where Funeral Services will begin at 2:00pm.
