Margaret Smith

Margaret Ann Smith born February 7, 1937 to John and Sadie Moerke in Britton, South Dakota passed away on August 10, 2012 at the Maples Nursing Home in Springfield, Missouri.
Margaret lived in North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois, Idaho, Arizona and Missouri. In addition to raising seven children, Margaret worked for many years as a housekeeper in local nursing homes and was a Certified Nursing Assistant.

She is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers. She is survived by her husband Melvin; their children: Calvin (Cynthia), Terrill, Keith, Karen Austin, Russell, Roger (Debi) and Carla Elliff (Scott); 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings Clyde Moerke (Minneapolis, MN); Jack Moerke (Hecla, SD) and Alice Moerke (San Luis Obispo, CA) and Robert Moerke (California).
