Margaret Jacobs

Margaret Geneva Jacobs, 81, of Springfield, Missouri passed away at the home on June 12, 2008. Margaret was born in Kansas City, Missouri to George Victor and Emma Elizabeth Lang. Her parents preceded her in death along with siblings Ramona Carol, Effie Jean, Frances, Virginia, Victor, Alscinous (Les), George Jr., Frank, and Fred Lang. Margaret married Walter Perry Jacobs on December 24, 1943 in Kansas City, Kansas.

She is survived by husband Walter of the home, daughter and son in law Patricia and Donald Roney of Overland Park, Kansas; son and daughter in law Gary and Esperanza Jacobs of San Jacinto, California; son Michael Jacobs of Springfield; and daughter Sheryl Davis of Springfield; sisters Daisy Krell of Rye, Texas; Barbara Skivers of Clinton, Missouri and Susan Wilson of Excelsior Springs, Missouri. She will be missed by eight grandchildren: Nathan Roney, Travis Roney, Janine Ramirez, Kim Qua, Carrie Strucke, Michelle Bogart, Tony Davis, Sara Davis; and 7 great grandchildren; Joseph and Annie Roney; Kobe Qua; Clarissa and Dravyn Strucke; T J Bogart and Max Ramirez.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2008 in Trinity Lutheran Church, 1415 S. Holland.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
