Elizabeth "Lucille" Kuntz, age 78, left this earthly journey on March 22, 2010 to join her Savior and her family in the heavenly realm. Lucille was born in Niangua, MO to James V. and Sarah M. (Monday) Dinwiddie on December 16, 1931. She was one of ten children.
Lucille loved God, Jesus, her children, grandchildren/great grandchildren, family, baseball and country music. She was a life long fan of the Statler Brothers, Chet Atkins, Floyd Cramer, and many more country music legends. She loved her gospel music. Music was a foundation for Lucille, and she passed her love of music down to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Gardening, and crafts were just a couple of passions of Lucille's. She loved flowers, and took great pride in the splendor she created and tended. She enjoyed making Christmas ornaments, and took great joy in giving them to her loved ones for their Christmas trees.
Lucille is survived by her three children, Bob Kuntz and his wife Mariea, Orlando, FL; Diana Ruggiero, and husband Tony, Greer, SC; and Dottie Peterson of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Jeremy and Jaime Kuntz; Steven Martin; Melanie, Nikki, and David Silk; Candice Mohler, Sophia and Jacob Peterson. She also leaves behind seven great grandchildren, Dominic Wimbish, Allie, Luke, and Cadence Loftis; Braedon Peterson, Madison Kuntz and Trinity Heflin.
The zest Lucille had for life, her spunk, humor, and love will be missed by all. She ran a long, hard race, and she reached the finish line, her loved ones in heaven cheering her on, and greeting her with open arms. She is finally out of pain, can breathe deeply, and clearly, and is at peace. Let's rejoice and celebrate the life of Lucille Dinwiddie Kuntz. This is what she would want. We shall meet again
