Loretta Anne Fiedler 78, Ozark, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was born March 4, 1936, in St. Mary’s Missouri, to Louis and Ruby E. Penny.
Loretta served as a nurse with the American Red Cross. Anne was loved by all those who came to know her. She volunteered at the homeless shelter, and often made herself available to any in need.
Her last few years were enjoyed at North Park Village in Ozark, Missouri close to her daughter where she found great friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Donald Fiedler, one son Robert Donald Fiedler, Jr. and two brothers, John Dale and Louis David Penny.
She is survived by a daughter Marceline Matlock, two son’s, Christopher Louis Fiedler and Tony Fiedler, Two brothers, Michael Penny and wife Betsy, and Stephen Richard Penny and a sister, LaQuita Ireland. Seven grandchildren, Evan Vaughn Matlock, Ethan Dean Matlock, Sophia Fiedler, Morgan Fiedler, Olivia Fiedler, Cooper Fiedler and Malcom Fiedler.
Memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2200 W. Republic Road, with Msgr Thomas Reidy celebrant, under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Resurrection Cemetery, Springfield.
