Lord Kang

Lord Kang was born on March 5, 1962 in Cameroon, Africa to the proud parents of Edward Epange Kang and Bertha Bate Kang. He was their first born child. He lived in Africa until the age of 23, when his excellence in academics led him to Springfield, Mo to attend Missouri State University.
In his childhood, Lord loved story telling. All his younger siblings would gather around at night just to hear his stories. Lord was also very athletic. He loved soccer, boxing, and track. He was one of the fastest boys in school. Lord was most known for his love of life and his determination to succeed.
His love for life carried him into his adulthood. You could always count on Lord to bring you good advice and a good laugh. He had a lot of friends and was very social. Lord loved to be on the go. He had a passion for style for as long as most can remember, and you could always count on him to bring you the latest fashion.
Lord loved his friends, family and his kids. But above all else, he loved Christ.
Lord was preceded in death by his siblings, Maurice Kang, Beatrice Kang and Maurine Kang.
He is survived by his parents; siblings, Maclareen Kang, Chu Green Kang, and Lesly Ngale Kang; siblings-in-Christ, Teresa and Reginald Patterson; children, Mercedes Fullum (Timothy Fullum), Dylan Burks, Tralen Tate, and Morgan Kang; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
Memorial services will be at 6:00 p.m. Monday August 6, 2012 in Timmons Temple, 934 E. Webster Springfield, MO 65802.
No visitation is planned.
