Lora Jordan

Lora Lee Jordan, 81, of Springfield, Missouri passed away Friday July 23, 2021.

She was born August 7th, 1939 to Herman and Lula (Hancock) Siebert in Topeka, Kansas.

Lora married Harry David Joseph Jordan (daddy Joe) on June 11, 1966 and he preceded her in death on 13th April 1972.
Although their time was short, he was the love of her life and she would never remarry. They traveled over seas in the military to Germany and went to many places in Europe including Paris.

She enjoyed cooking and baking and taking care of her children. She worked many government jobs before retiring. Then she traveled to San Diego with her son Tim every year until she was unable to travel.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother. Survivors include son, Larry Timothy Young and twin daughters Tammy (Jerry) Ruff and Teresa (Kevin) Horn. Her brother Larry Siebert and sister Rosanne Paige. 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held from 11:30am to 12:30pm on Thursday, July 29th, 2021 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm in Thursday, July 29th, 2021 at Springfield National Cemetery, 1702 E. Seminole, in Springfield, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
